JENNIFER MELTZER
Managing Partner
A native of Silver Spring, Jennifer Meltzer discovered her passion for the hospitality industry while studying Anthropology and Middle Eastern studies at the University of Virginia. Jennifer worked in a sandwich shop and found that her cultural studies applied daily to guest interactions in the restaurant and enjoyed making people happy with a simple sandwich and a smile. After graduation, Jennifer continued her Middle Eastern studies, earning a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University in 2006, but something kept pulling her back to hospitality. Since graduating, she has worked in a number of well-known area restaurants such as BLT Steak, The Capital Grille, Founding Farmers and Del Frisco’s Grille and is excited to apply her background in steakhouses to All Set Restaurant & Bar where seafood will be a welcomed influence to the American cuisine represented. In addition to her professional experience, Jennifer has a certificate in Food Service Management from Cornell University and has earned her CWP (Certified Wine Professional) from the Culinary Institute of America and, most recently, achieved the second level in the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is excited to bring the All Set concept to downtown Silver Spring and share her enthusiasm for hospitality with the team and guests at All Set.
Edward Reavis
Chef/Partner
Hailing from the small town of Emporia, Virginia, Edward Reavis began his culinary journey at the age of 15 washing dishes. At that time he did not know that food would become his main passion. Later, while pursuing a degree in Physical Education at Virginia State University, Reavis realized how important nutrition is for a healthy lifestyle but, more than that, he found that he loved to cook and create dishes to impress his friends and family. That love took him to Baltimore International Culinary School where he was able to study professional cooking while working at Morton’s Steakhouse and Gaylord National. Reavis left Gaylord National to join the opening team at the Capital Grille Chevy Chase, MD, where he met Jennifer Meltzer. In 2012, Edward received his Professional Chef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Most recently, Edward worked as sous chef at Cru Oyster Bar – named “Best New Restaurant” by Boston Magazine – in Nantucket, MA. With All Set, Chef Edward Reavis looks forward to using traditional culinary practices and incorporating new techniques he has learned through his travels.
Molly Horn
Bar Manager
Born and raised in Bethesda, MD, Molly got her start in the restaurant industry at the age of 14. She began her career at Bethesda-based Gifford’s Ice Cream and later moved on to a global pizza franchise. Molly attended the Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Philosophy and Public Relations. During her time in State College, Molly worked at a local deli and spent her summers in New York City waiting tables at her first full-service restaurant job. Serving tables and cocktail waitressing every night gave Molly her first taste of pushing her limits and living the restaurant life, the challenge of which she quickly realized she loved. It was not until her post-graduation time at Founding Farmers, that she discovered her love for hospitality and restaurants while working with Jennifer Meltzer. In her five years of working with the Founding Farmers company, Molly has moved from server to trainer to bartender to head bartender, learning the ins and outs of branding, company policy, cost efficiency, and managing. She has succeeded in helping to open a new, large-format restaurant and addressing issues relating to bar costs, bar training, organization, setup, and hiring/managing. Recently she has been focusing on developing and creating new cocktails and is excited to join the team at All Set.
